The author of the beloved Riyria Revelations, Michael became a phenomena in the self publishing world before joining Orbit Books. Not content to stay in fantasy, his science fiction debut, HOLLOW WORLD, was published by Tachyon Publications. Michael is currently working on the third  Riyria Chronicle book and has the First Empire series forthcoming from Del Rey in summer 2016!
