We’re thrilled to announce that the state of Nebraska has chosen Brandon Sanderson’s ALCATRAZ VS. THE EVIL LIBRARIANS as their “One Book” for all Nebraska elementary school kids to read in 2017! The Nebraska Library Commission & the Regional Library Systems have developed the “One Book” program so that kids across the state can read and discuss the same book. As the school year is just beginning, we’re excited to see what Nebraska has to say in its Alcatraz discussions!

The five-book Alcatraz series has been translated into 13 languages. The first book was a contender for the Golden Sower Award, Nebraska’s Children’s Choice Book Award, Hawaii’s Nene Award, North Carolina’s Battle of the Books, and Florida’s Sunshine State Young Reader’s Award.
