True Blood, the Golden Globe award-winning, Emmy-nominated TV show, based off of Charlaine Harris' #1 NY Times-bestselling Sookie Stackhouse series, has started its fourth season! Episodes air Sunday nights on HBO in the US, and the show is airing in almost every major TV market in the world. Season Four premiered in the US on June 26th.

The series is created by Alan Ball (Six Feet Under, American Beauty) and has a fabulous ensemble cast, starring Academy Award-winner Anna Paquin (The Piano, X-Men Trilogy) as Sookie Stackhouse (who won the Golden Globe for Best Actress for her first season TRUE BLOOD work!), Stephen Moyer (The Starter Wife) as vampire Bill Compton, and Alexander Skarsgard (Zoolander) as Eric Northman.

"Blood Ties", the Lifetime series based on Tanya Huff's popular "Blood" books, has finished its 2nd season on Lifetime, but is now airing in reruns on Lifetime's "Real Woman" network, at 4PM Monday-Friday, and on Saturday and Sunday nights at 10PM (and again at 3AM, for you night owls). The series launched in August 2007 in Canada on City TV and Space, and overseas launches followed in Germany, Italy and many other markets.

It’s official: True Blood has been renewed for a fourth season!
