Ella Gill (she/her) is an Agency Assistant at JABberwocky Literary Agency directly assisting President Joshua Bilmes. She was born and raised in the Chicagoland area, but moved to New York City at 18 to pursue a BFA in acting from New York University. Ella attended the Columbia Publishing Course in the summer of 2024 and worked as an intern & assistant at FinePrint Literary Management before joining JABberwocky in May of 2025.
Ella spent her childhood reading Nancy Drew and Sherlock Holmes mysteries. And she hasn’t changed all that much; these days she finds herself mostly reading thrillers, true crime, and the occasional memoir. When she doesn’t have her head buried in a book, you can find her jogging on Roosevelt Island, watching Survivor, or attempting to master French Onion Soup in her tiny kitchen.
