Kim Cayley was born in Nova Scotia, had a satisfying affair with Canada’s west coast, and returned home to the east. She writes stories with heart, happily ever afters and a hint of magic—where loveable grumps, sweet cinnamon rolls, and sunshiny weirdos find their way together.

Kim Cayley is represented by Susan Velazquez Colmant and Christina Zobel, who are excited to work together on Kim’s speculative romantic comedy, FATED FAKES. When a terrible psychic and a grieving skeptic team up for a fake dating agreement, neither of them expects ghostly dormant powers to awaken or to catch real feelings—leading them to question whether it’s fate, or nothing but fake.
