JABberwocky Literary Agency is pleased to announce that we have recently welcomed a new client, Alexia Syrmos.

Alexia Syrmos grew up in the United States, studied law at Columbia, and spent seven years practicing at Big Law firms in New York City, where she learned that the best stories happen just outside the conference room. Her fiction explores class, mental health, and the complicated architecture of female friendship. She now lives in Milan, where she works as an in-house attorney and writes whenever she can.

Alexia is represented by Christina Zobel, who is thrilled to work together on Alexia’s gripping upmarket fiction novel, HOPE ALL’s WELL. Set in the high-stakes world of a New York City law firm, the novel follows first-year associate Lara Janssen, who is assigned to represent the insurance company that ruled her father’s death a suicide. When a chance encounter unravels her secret, Lara must choose between the career for which she’s sacrificed everything and the relationships that might still make her whole.
