We are very excited to finally announce something that’s been in the works for a while: a new TV series, based on Charlaine Harris‘s Harper Connelly books, is in development at CBS, with Law & Order: SVU‘s Kam Miller writing and Tony and Ridley Scott’s Scott Free production company attached, as well as CSI‘s Naran Shankar and David Zucker. Charlaine has seen fantastic success with this characteristically quirky paranormal series–the latest, GRAVE SECRET, debuted at #9 on the New York Times bestseller list, and the books have thus far sold into ten markets internationally, from France to Poland to Indonesia.
