C.N. Crawford

C.N. Crawford is not one person but two. They write their novels collaboratively, passing their laptops back and forth to edit each other’s words.

Christine is from Lexington, Massachusetts and has has a lifelong interest in New England folklore–with a particular fondness for creepy old cemeteries and execution histories. Nick spent his childhood reading fantasy and science fiction during Vermont’s long winters, which have rendered him impervious to the cold.

Frost (#1)
"Easy to read, fast paced, filled with intrigue, tension and underlying sexual attraction, Frost was a very enjoyable read that makes me want to know what happens next! "

Beware of the Reader

"[E]verything you would expect from a contemporary-hate-to-love-Fantasy-Romance book. It was action-packed and flew smoothly."

Fae Reviews

"Not only does C.N. Crawford incorporate fae into our modern world, they also create amazing characters."

Two Girls Bookin' It

"[A]n interesting take on the fae world in relation to the human world, and has a strong female friendship, and a strong well balanced romance that has potential to be addicting. "

What is that Book About

"Great world-building, fun story and I’m excited to read book two."

Demon Queen Trials

City of Thorns (#1)
"Rowen is a fabulous character. She’s quirky, has mad survival skills, can fight like a pro, is sexy and self-aware...She is BRILLIANT. This is a girl who has the survival mindset nailed and a very specific set of tools at her disposal. Even without Demon magic, she is amazing!"

Smexy Books

"The City of Thorns is well formed and described, the plot moves quickly, and the writing is good. I would have liked to have a little more descriptions, but overall it was still a book that pulled me into the world and left me wanting more. If you like fantasy based in our world with demons, the occult, mystery and enjoy some spice this might be a book and series that you’d be in."

Mommy Thrives

"I think this is a pretty solid start to a series. I like the world building and enjoyed getting to know Rowan and some of her mysterious background. I love Orion of course and not because he’s a handsome demon but he is snarky and I love snark."

Past Midnight

"Now, when I started reading "City of Thorns," I found myself smiling every time there was a similarity with another book. It didn't feel like C.N. Crawford was 'borrowing' scenes or aspects from other authors. It was funny actually. There were bits of "Fifty Shades of Grey," of Emily in Paris, and specially of "Blood and Ash." The more I thought about the book, the more it felt like an evolution of a fanfiction of Jennifer Armentrout's book. That said, when you go to sleep at 5 am because you couldn't stop reading until it was finished, that means the book was good. Isn't it? I don't care if at some point there were bits and pieces of other stories in here. The book still felt different. It had everything I needed, action, suspense, romance, and fantasy. Some mysteries were uncover so you can feel the victory there as a reader. However, there's still more to learn and more to enjoy."

Fae Reviews

"I also enjoyed the world-building that went into this piece. It was a nice, refreshing look on demonology. I feel like there was just enough to make me feel like I was in another world, with the appropriate level of familiarity that there weren’t overly large lore dumps to trudge through."

Ivy Whitaker

"Loved this! I had an awesome time reading it. It kept me turning pages and incredibly interested to see what would happen next. I found myself totally engrossed in the story."

K.F. Breene, bestselling author of the Deliciously Dark Fairytales series

"I flew through this book... Hot demon lord—check. Action—check. Romance—check. And there's spice! If you love my books, you definitely want to read this one."

Laura Thalassa, author of the Bewitched series

Lord of Embers (#2)
"I love Orion and Rowan’s interactions. They clearly can’t deny the attraction between them, but they also both have a desire to rule – so who is it going to be? There is tension and humor, which I enjoy. There’s also a spicy scene which was fun while it lasted."

Past Midnight

"If you like fantasy based in our world with demons, the occult, mystery and enjoy some spice this might be a book and series that you’d be in."

Mommy Thrives

"My earlier praise of Crawford’s writing and world-building still stands. I adored everything: the flow, the voice, the pacing."

Ivy Whitaker

Garden of Serpents (#3)
"All in all, this was a very complete piece, a lot of action, great characters, enough tension and suspense and a cute ending. I hope you give it a try!"
