We’re roughly halfway through 2015, and as we hit midsummer, we’ve had a number of clients pop up on best-of lists and receive special accolades and call-outs. That number? A lot:

First up, congratulations are in order for Daniel José Older! He and co-editor Rose Fox have been nominated for the World Fantasy Award for their wildly successful LONG HIDDEN anthology (buy|reviews).

In further good news, both Daniel José Older’s SHADOWSHAPER (buy|reviews) and HALF-RESURRECTION BLUES (buy|reviews) were named to BookRiot’s The Best Books of 2015 So Far! Older, whose SHADOWSHAPER has four starred reviews to date, joins the likes of Ta-Nehisi Coates and. . .

. . . JABberwocky’s own Silvia Moreno-Garcia! Silvia was named to the list for her debut, SIGNAL TO NOISE (buy|buy|buy), and BookRiot wrote: “This little indie release deserves all the attention.” Check out a plethora of reviews we’ve compiled for the title.

Then we received some really great Mark Hodder news—his debut, THE STRANGE AFFAIR OF SPRING HEELED JACK (buy|reviews)—was named to Audible’s “10 Editors, 100 Books” list, in which Audible.com editors recommended their favorite audiobooks ever.

But wait, there’s more! We’ve learned that Adam-Troy Castro will have a story in the first-ever BEST AMERICAN SCIENCE FICTION & FANTASY, out this October. The titles of the stories are officially under wraps for now, so you’ll just have to pre-order. (It’s quite possible that a story from LONG HIDDEN appears in these pages as well. . .)

Last, but certainly not least, Brandon Sanderson‘s STEELHEART (buy|reviews) was just nominated for the Green Mountain Book Award up in Vermont! This marks the eleventh state award that the #1 NY Times bestselling novel has been nominated for. STEELHEART won the Kentucky Bluegrass Award just a week before.
