The JABberwocky team extends a HUGE congratulations to longtime client, Brandon Sanderson — he has officially sold over 50 million copies of his books across the world!

Over the past weekend, during Dragonsteel Nexus, a lucky fan was showered in confetti after they purchased the symbolic 50 millionth copy of a Brandon Sanderson book. That copy of TRESS OF THE EMERALD SEA was personally signed and numbered by the author himself, who then gave a short speech to reflect on hitting this incredible milestone:

Since his first novel, ELANTRIS, was published by Tor Books in May 2005, Brandon’s books have reached a huge global audience, being translated into thirty-five different languages. In that time, he has hit multiple bestseller lists for his works, most notably The Stormlight Archive and the Mistborn saga (with TIME Magazine deeming Mistborn as one of the 100 best fantasy novels of all time). The 50th million copy threshold was met just as his latest book, TAILORED REALITIES, is to be published. Brandon has also been a JABberwocky client throughout his career, with company founder Joshua Bilmes as his long-standing literary agent.
