We were notified last week of an error in our print-on-demand/paperback edition of THE RED SCHOLAR’S WAKE by Aliette de Bodard that caused an entire chapter to be left out of the book. Specifically, Chapter #16 and we believe this affected all sales of the print-on-demand/paperback that were sold up through January 9th, 2023. If you purchased a print-on-demand/paperback edition of THE RED SCHOLAR’S WAKE after January 9th then it should not have the missing chapter error.
We are sorry for this mistake and are working with our publishing partners at Amazon to make it right to readers as quickly as we can. Our goal is to replace each misprinted edition of THE RED SCHOLAR’S WAKE (link) that was sold with a corrected one, and this will either happen in conjunction with Amazon or directly through our own efforts.
Replacement copies of the print-on-demand/paperback edition will be sent at no cost to you. This was JABberwocky’s unfortunate mistake and JABberwocky will be paying to fix it.
