Next: National Public Radio has chosen A NATURAL HISTORY OF DRAGONS by Marie Brennan as one of the Best Books of 2013!

Also: Jeri Westerson is a finalist for an RT Reviewers Choice Award! SHADOW OF THE ALCHEMIST is featured in the Mystery Suspense & Thriller category. Out of the 3000+ books they review each year, RT Books has hand-selected only the best titles to highlight, and we’re excited that they’ve recognized Jeri’s work as the cream of the crop.

Finally: It’s not online yet, but the Texas Library Association has selected both of Brandon Sanderson’s Young Adult novels for their recommended reading lists! THE RITHMATIST is featured on the 2014 Lone Star Reading List, which is used to encourage students in grades 6-8 to read a variety of current books. The TLA’s list for grades 9-12, the Tayshas Reading List, features STEELHEART. It’s great to see that not only are these titles NYT bestsellers, they’ve also been approved by librarians as great choices for turning students into lifelong readers!
