Clarissa Marques writes mystery, fantasy, and sci-fi featuring LGBTQ+ characters. Born and raised in Campinas, Brazil, she took up reading in English because she was too impatient to wait for books to be translated into Portuguese. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Hamilton College, and spent her summers interning at literary agencies in New York City. She loves stationary and cats she meets on the street.
