Luyi Bennett is a comic artist and illustrator. After an unsuccessful attempt at making an honest living in the corporate world, she went back to the drawing board and has been drawing ever since. She is the lead artist and co-creator of the upcoming graphic novel The Last Human (In A Crowded Galaxy), as well as a writer and artist on ongoing series Catians (Scout Comics) and a contributor to the double Eisner Award-winning anthology YOU DIED: An Anthology of the Afterlife (Iron Circus Comics).

She grew up in New York City and now lives in Connecticut with an extremely understanding husband and a dog that might actually be a cat. There’s still enough HR knowledge in her head to help clean up a resume, but she thinks making comics is way more fun. In her free time, she can be found sipping coffee and napping, often in that order.
