Nick spent nearly two decades as a professional biologist. After college, he worked as a lab tech purifying enzymes before returning to school to earn both a master’s and a PhD in herpetology. He even did a postdoc in human evolutionary genomics. Now writing full-time, he lives in Vermont with his wife, two sons, and plenty of books.
