Congratulations are in order for Jeri Westerson!

SERPENT IN THE THORNS (reviews | buy), the second novel in her Crispin Guest medieval noir mystery series, has been named a finalist for the Macavity Award, to be awarded at Bouchercon, the World Mystery Convention, in October.

This is fantastic news, and it’s worth noting that this is the second consecutive nomination for the series.  Jeri’s debut, VEIL OF LIES (reviews | buy), was also a Macavity finalist.
