As of yesterday, Open Road Media published a dozen novels from the great Ellery Queen collection for the first time as eBooks and are available for purchase wherever eBooks are sold. Including such classics as Cat of Many Tails and The Dutch Shoe Mystery, what once was old is new again and available for another generation of readers to fall into.

To celebrate the launch of these titles, Open Road Media put together an excellent video featuring the sons of the two authors who wrote collaboratively as “Ellery Queen.” Also featured is Otto Penzler, the publisher of the eponymous Otto Penzler Books mystery imprint who says that “after Poe, I think it’s true that Ellery Queen was the most significant and important writer of mystery fiction in America.”
