Simultaneous releases have gone out today from Random House/Delacorte in the US and from Orion/Gollancz in the UK to announce major new deals for Brandon Sanderson‘s YA trilogy, Steelheart, which is also already sold to Fantasy Foundation in Taiwan.  Total advances are already into seven figures, and we’ve been hearing from our global partners all day with manuscript requests.  We’re also already in negotiation for a major Hollywood deal!  This is one of our largest deals ever, and special thanks to go Eddie Schneider here for orchestrating the auction for the book, and to our long-time partner John Richard Parker at the Zeno Agency in the UK.
