UPDATE (1/9/14): And the praise continues to roll in for Myke Cole and FORTRESS FRONTIER! SFFWorld recently posted their end of year list and named Cole’s second Shadow Ops novel their fourth favorite fantasy novel 0f 2013, putting him ahead of some other fellow named Stephen King. The Founding Fields also loved FORTRESS FRONTIER and listed it as the #10 on their “Top 25 Books of 2013” list. While Fantasy Book Critic thought that Myke Cole deserved the #3 spot on their Top Ten Novels of 2013, going so far as to say that FORTRESS FRONTIER “managed to blast open the urban fantasy subgenre in the same way Tolkien did to epic fantasy decades ago.”
