Great news for Sookie Stackhouse fans!

HBO’s original series True Blood, based on the bestselling books by longtime JABberwocky client Charlaine Harris, is rerunning on cable TV starting this weekend.

The Southern Vampires Mysteries — the inspiration for the show — is the #1 New York Times bestselling series following Sookie Stackhouse, a waitress and a telepath in the fictional town of Bon Temps, Louisiana; each book brings up a new mystery for her to follow involving supernatural beings such as vampires, werewolves, and more. Starting with DEAD UNTIL DARK, the series extends for 13 books and has sold over 33 million copies worldwide!

Charlaine Harris is a multiple #1 New York Times bestselling author who has been writing for forty years, and has been named a Grand Master by the Mystery Writers of America — the field’s highest honor.

Its television adaption, True Blood, ran for 7 seasons from 2008 to 2014, and garnered much critical attention, including winning an Emmy at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards.

According to Variety, the show’s rerun will follow the NBA All Star coverage beginning Saturday after the game on TNT. Following that initial premiere, True Blood will move to a regular time slot on Mondays at 10 p.m. on TNT.

DEAD UNTIL DARK and the rest of the Southern Vampire Mysteries series are available where all good books are sold!
